Monsieur Lacenaire SS17
In those days, we all need to rest and to think about what is really important.
That’s why for Spring Summer 2017 Monsieur Lacenaire celebrates «la flânerie parisienne».
It means strolling, taking our time, enjoying our life smoothly and easy.
To do so, we took tribute to our favorite place in Paris, les Jardins des Tuileries.
A super fancy Parisian place, but also playful with its small boats for kids and amusement park.
To present the collection, we imagined a giant nap to let our dreams come and go, and create the quietest fashion show.
The models were floating on a sea of papers, which created the sound of small waves when guests were walking through it.
The collection is made of knitwear inspired by Tuilerie’s toy boats, portrait of kids, patterns of Tuileries’s chairs, linen trousers and patchwork shirts.
The Belgium illustrator Brecht Evens joined us a create a special painting to represent our vision of Tuileries, with some details printed on garments for a capsule collection.
So, breath in. Breath out.
Take your time and (I hope you will) enjoy this collection.
